Scat

A knock-knock joke Jack told my brother Ben:

J: Knock-knock
B: Who's there?
J: Poop
B: Poop who?
J: Pee pee

Tonight at tee-ball, one of the dads asked me about our trip to the Cubs game, and I told him about Jack getting his leg stuck in the chair and screaming "Doctor! Doctor!" for the next 2 batters. Jack was embarrassed to hear himself talked about and handled that emotion by screaming "Poopy! Poopy! Pee pee! Poopy!"

Trader Joe's has been out of Joe-Joes for 2 weeks now (Joe-Joes are TJ's HFCS-free Oreo knock offs that are actually way, way, way better than actual Oreos), and they FINALLY had some on MOnday, but only the ones with chocolate frosting in the middle. Jack had one at lunch, and when he opened it and saw brown frosting, he cackled and screamed (wait for it) "Poop cookie! Poop cookie yummy!"

So. Yeah. That's where he is lately.

  1. Heh heh heh. Funny thing is, we are staying with my sister and niece for the week and my niece is not nearly as fascinated by potty humor as Charlie was at the same age.

  4. I have totally given into the obsession w/ the poop and pee jokes in our house and seriously, nothing makes Ethan happier than watching me crack up at him making a poop joke. And just like your guys, it doesn't matter how nonsensical, as a matter of fact, the less it makes sense? the funnier it is. Ah, boys.

Also? I love the bedding that Jack is passed out on.

  5. So glad AJU5 has no interest in potty talk. That, we we use "stinky" and "soggy" instead of poop and pee (at my husband's request). But, I won't be surprised if AJU6 ends up with some potty humor when he is older...
