Hilton Head, Day 4

That's what I made for BREAKFAST because, clearly, the Whole30 DESTROYED ME.
Our walk to the beach from the car-- something I have become nostalgic for since we got back to the land-locked fly-over.
Why yes, Cooper DID break his boogie board by sitting on it-- how can you tell?
They played together for the first 30 minutes we were there, and it was lovely.  Ben and I relaxed in the sun.
Until they needed a snack.  Always with the snacks.
 So sweet!  So sandy!
We spent most of our morning on this beauty:

We stayed at the beach as long as we could, even packing a lunch and eating it on the benches by the showers because it really was supposed to rain.  But then, magically, it didn't.  So when we were so hot and beached out at like 3:00, we headed to the cute little community pool that we got to use for our stay.  They made pina coladas in a blender that were not from a mix and were amazing.  AMAZING.
A little exhausted from an 8-hour beach/pool day.
Instead of planning a big dinner out, we took Dorothy and Cooper to ride ponies-- something they did last time and haven't stopped talking about-- and then hit up Wal-Mart for a sunscreen refill and the Lego Batman movie, which we watched while at takeout pizza from Frosty Frog and Ben and I did a little more adjunct work.  And it did actually rain a little, so we really loved our cozy night in.

After the movie, we did a little night beach.

And then Ben and I had takeout Daiquiris and watched another movie and were asleep by like 9:45.  Another perfect day.
