We expect a call from the school social worker

Jack's class told their teachers what they are thankful for, and the teachers put their answers in the weekly newsletter.

Jack J is my Jack.

We really love Diane DeGroat's Gilbert books-- they are adorable-- you should check em out.  She writes a book for most holidays-- even April Fool's day-- and major occasions like the first day of school.  Her Thanksgiving book is called We Gather Together Now Please Get Lost, and we have been reading it a lot.  In the book, Gilbert ditches his dorky field trip partner on a day-before-Thanksgiving class trip by hiding in the bathroom, and the door accidentally locks, and he's worried he will spend the holiday locked inside (but the dorky classroom buddy comes to the rescue just in time for pumpkin pie at the school trip picnic-- phew!).  SO THAT'S WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.

Anyway, hope you are also thankful to not be locked in a bathroom today.
